Last year more than 4,000 landlords and owners participated in the Housing Choice Voucher program.
These property owners and landlords provided homes for approximately 9,400 families across the Commonwealth that they otherwise wouldn’t have been able to afford.

Why is the Housing Choice Voucher Program so important to your community?
Far more than simply helping provide a roof over the their heads, the Housing Choice Voucher Program helps low-income families hold their heads high – through this program, quality standards are maintained, safe environments are fostered and adaptation into communities is made more feasible.
This is not a program to create “the projects”; this is a program to help participants get on their feet, to perhaps break the cycle of homelessness, or simply to provide a better living arrangement. When you help a family with this achievement your entire community benefits.
